Nevertheless, She Preached—Elevating the Voices That Need to Be Heard
Nevertheless She Preached (NSP) exists to elevate and center female, queer, and BIPOC voices who offer transformative theologies of liberation and critical reflection of our social and religious contexts. We provide safe space for faith leaders and justice makers to be valued in community as their authentic selves and to experience healing. Together we pursue freedom from the toxic power of patriarchy, colonization, racism, and heteronormativity.
UPCOMING EVENTS
UPCOMING EVENTS
We alternate annually between two transformative experiences: The Main Event (our flagship conference) in even years, and The Restoration Experience (intimate cohorts + retreat) in odd years. The Main Event ignites the movement. The Restoration Experience sustains it.
THE MAIN EVENT: NSP Conference
A multi-day gathering featuring keynote speakers, workshops, and community-building experiences. Our 2026 conference brings together hundreds of wisdom workers for transformative learning.
THE RESTORATION EXPERIENCE: NSP Cohorts+Retreat
Intimate, ongoing learning communities that dive deep into theology, leadership, and liberation. Limited spaces for meaningful engagement and lasting connections.

Why People Come Back
-
“The single most guaranteed soul and mind-refreshing conference I attend each year. I learn, I connect; I get nourished, inspired, challenged, tickled, and deeply moved, year in and year out. Keep up this essential, life-giving work, Friends!”
-
“Heard in one day everything I’ve wanted to hear from spiritual leadership my whole life.”
-
“As a (privileged) white cis woman, I have been blessed, challenged and encouraged to hear and experience the voices of my non-white, non-cis sisters. My eyes and heart have been opened. These sisters have embraced my inexperience in being with those in the margins and taught me with grace and patience. NSP is a must for anyone who feels called to do ministry.”
-
“The speakers at this conference have shaken and shattered the false foundations handed to me in a patriarchal church system and broken my heart wide open. These woman have indeed proclaimed good news.”
